Melbourne-based independent publication Demasque Magazine will release its 31st issue at a launch event in Fitzroy on Thursday 25 June, accompanied by a program of live performances and DJ sets.
The quarterly magazine, which focuses on kink, fetish and erotic arts culture, will make the new issue available to attendees as part of their event ticket purchase. It will then go on sale through the publication’s online webshop from the following day and at Eagle Leather from the following week.
Launch Night Entertainment
The Issue 31 Launch Party will be held at Avalon The Bar in Fitzroy from 7.30pm to 11pm.
The evening’s entertainment program includes a shibari performance by Himboy, fetish burlesque by Winter Greene and a DJ set from DJ Hayley.
The event is also being positioned as a networking night, with the launch falling during Pride season.
Cover Artwork Collaboration
The cover artwork for Issue 31 is a collaborative series between model Jemma Joy and Photographer Hoshiato. The magazine has indicated that the official cover reveal is still to come ahead of the launch date.

Erotic Art Club Continues Monthly Sessions

Alongside the magazine launch, Demasque continues to run its Erotic Art Club, a recurring fetish life drawing program held on the first Wednesday evening of each month throughout 2026.
The sessions, which welcome artists of all experience levels, take place at XIXI Studio in Fitzroy. The next scheduled session is on Wednesday 1 July, with doors opening at 7pm and poses commencing at 7.15pm.
The models for the July session will be Kitty Katastrophy and Runestaff.
Sinergy Returns For Winter 2026

Demasque has also confirmed the return of Sinergy, its bi-annual dance and play party, with a Winter 2026 edition scheduled for Saturday 25 July.
The event will run from 8pm to 2am at 24 Moons in Northcote and will feature performances from Elle Diablo, Lucian Blake and Blissful Bindings, with DJ sets from DJ Moxxy, DJ Xanthraxxx and DJ Syme Tollens.
The venue setup for the night will include a dungeon space in the mezzanine, a dance floor and a chill lounge area. An erotic and fetish dress code will be in effect for attendees.

The string of upcoming events points to an expanding live programming arm for Demasque Magazine, which has built its profile around the intersection of independent publishing and Melbourne’s kink and fetish community.
