One of the world’s most powerful dancers, Victoria Wolfe has become an industry icon in Australia, as she recently exploded onto the stage of the iconic burlesque and vaudeville theatre, Speakeasy HQ in Melbourne Australia. After commencing a standard performance contract in June 2016, the public and audience response to her appearances at the Melbourne theatre were sufficiently show-stopping that the theatre’s owners and management redesigned the entire show around Ms Wolfe performances.
With a background in hip hop, jazz and tap, Victoria Wolfe turned her focus onto performing burlesque in 2011 with intermittent performances for charity and corporate events. However, in mid 2016 she was asked to perform as a replacement act at the only vaudeville theatre in the Southern Hemisphere, Speakeasy HQ, and the audience went wild! Standing ovations followed and massive fan responses that are unlike many others before or since her.
Now, as the headline dancer of Speakeasy HQ’s Burlesque Extravaganza, Tassel and Tease and The Vault Theatre’s Burlesque Magnifique, Victoria Wolfe is regarded as one of the most entertaining burlesque artists in Australia, and one of the most powerful dancers in the world today.
